    Yes, the hood of the Canon 70-200 is black. And that does look like my coat.... And sweatshirt hood. And gloves.

    looks like an awesome trip!! I will be leading a safari to Botswana later in November so will be tough to get away (besides the price of airfare plus the IPT would put me in the dog box at home )...would love to join one day! My primary North-American photographic pursuit would actually be Grizzlies during Salmon run...with Bald Eagles a close second.

    By the way - what exactly does IPT stand for, Artie?

    IPT = Instructional Photo-Tour. Tough to combine the bears and the eagles. The eagles are easy in Katmai in June July but are more difficult when the good salmon runs begin. Our Homer trips are unbeatable for the eagles.....
