    Another eagle from last week in AK. Check out my blog at http://franzfoto.wordpress.com/ for some more info on how the 1Dmk4 was set up and performed for these conditiions. Pretty much full frame just some horison adjustment and slight crop...

    Love the how the talons stand out against the fanned tail feathers. Good exposure and sharpness. The image would have more impact if you posted it at 1024 pixels wide.

    I love the pose and the sharpness is awesome, to me it looks like too much blue color in the water but it's a great image.

    Spectacular image!. Great feather detail due to the excellent phase angle of what looks like 20 to 30 degrees.

    Great pose and front on light...The eye pops nicely and really pops from the BG...Just a touch over sharpened for my taste...Great image Robert

    I love the light and the eye contact. I also like how the tail shows the business end of this Eagle. The eye keeps drawing me in and the sharpness looks great to me.
