    Good eye contact and nice detail. A little surprised that you didn't get both feet sharp at f/8; you must have been pretty close. I would place the bird slightly higher in the frame.

    Great BG and head angle...the exposure on the yellow really looks good...Was about to say what Doug said about DOF and closeness to subject and then saw he already covered it

    Wonderful detail, BG and exposure. I might try dodging the tail a little bit to see if it brings it out a bit more.
