    Allan:

Very flattering light, with rich, saturated colors, sharp, well exposed. The small waves gives a bit different look than usual with spoonies.

Preening poses can be a challenge to get everything working, esp. since the head is often held at a variety of angles, some not very flattering. Although his head isn't parallel to the sensor, this one works well, partly because the eye is so well seen and colorful.
The framing works well here because all our attention and the action are directed inward.

Excellent breeding colors on this individual as well.

    Cheers

    Randy

I like the small wave, sharpness, details and preening pose. Well done Alan!
