    Default Condor----first post

I hope you cann post if you hold a Nikon in your hand  California Condor taken at the San Diego Wild Animal Park ,This is a great bird and can be shot in the wild but it is not very easy. This has that Phantom of the Opera look to me but still shot thru wire .This looks like the start of a great forum .

You've done pretty well given where and how it was shot. I really like the the pose.......definitely a Phantom of the Opera look. The light was not the best leading to some dark areas both on the bird and the BG but you did get the light on the head. It's always helpful to include you technical information such as camera, lens, shutter speed, f-stop, etc. as that can help with making further suggestions. Blurring the BG might also help.

I like the phantom of the opera pose and the way the bird is looking at you. The lighting and bg are less than ideal, but it sounds like your choices were pretty limited there. Welcome to BPN.
