It's never easy getting interesting images of wildebeest, especially in the mara at migration time where they number in the hundreds of thousands.
This guy was recovering from a hangover the previous night with some head/horn dust bathing against this old temite mound.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

    Marc,

Perhaps you are too young to remember the "My Brain Hurts" sketch from Monty Python featuring the indominatble Mr Gumby, I think this may have made a good title?

Back to the image it is great and certainly different

I think I have seen all the Monty Python shows and don't recall that one.

I agree with Ken. Very different look at this animal. Good detail in the dark body too Marc.

Remember it well Ken along with the dead parrot and lumberjack sketches.
They were made early 70's from memory, being in my mid teens at the time.

I dig the behaviour here Marc, captured in nice soft light.
Lots of detail in the blacks.

I still laugh my butt off at some of those sketches...the "ministry of silly walks" being a favourite

Nice behaviour captured Mark and good detail on the wildebeest. Love the BG fading off into the distance.
