    Default Winter Cypress Trees

    Attached Images Attached Images

Photo of cypress trees at Noxubee Refuge a couple of weeks ago, most still bearing their winter foliage. I used Topaz Adjust twice, once for color saturation of the base image, then used the watercolor setting, added a texture, combined layers and added Topaz Simplify and another texture. Both textures had darker corners and edges.

I really like the strong vertical elements crossing the foliage colors, Judy. Very nice gradient bands in the reflections. I enjoy this also, because it is something I have never seen before.

Very lovely work, Judy. The repeating vertical lines of the trees combined with the beautiful colors makes it a very pleasing image. Well done!

Thanks Paul, Andrew and Christopher. The original photo was pretty boring but I thought the rusty red color had potential and Topaz brought it out nicely.

Thanks Denise. I like it on trees too if not overdone to where it starts producing what I call "webs" mainly in areas of bare branches, which bugs me.
