Nice image. Interesting pathway. Good that you got the face clear. A heavier coating of snow on the fallen tree branches would have been even better. Overall I like it. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting shot of the coyote in it's habitat. Techs all look good. I like the lines of the water, snows edge, and the fallen tree.

this is really unique Ross! I love the way the golden coat of the coyote makes it "pop" from the snowy surroundings, and that the head is in the clear.

layers work well as mentioned! nice creative composition...

Great image. It is very different from the usual coyote images that I have seen & taken. The exposure & sharpness are right on. What was your EV?

Sabyasachi, seriously? It seems to me that is like asking for world peace. The snow on the fallen branches is what it is.

    Hi Ross,

A unique and compelling image that held my interest. I could see this one in a great wildlife magazine and I'm sure it would stop me for an extended look. Nice work.

The pano crop works well, and I like the different 'strata' elements within the scene. The inclusion of the build up of snow on the fallen tree is a nice touch. Pleased to see a different location/setting for this animal.

Personally I would like to have seen this image presented bigger, to appreciate it more.

Good use of the horizontal lines, layers and pano crop. Well seen and composed.
