    This hummer (need ID) was a grab and shoot, but liked the head detail & colors.
    ACR, PP, NR, cloned out some longer flower shoots over body, blurred & burned LLC.

    7D, EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM +2.0x, hand-held

    Brendan:

    I like this one, feels almost like a macro shot. Sharp on the eye with some visible detail in the eye, where often you see none.

    Good sense of motion from the wing blur.

    Like the color and location of the flower. I might do a subtle vignette of the extreme LLC(push it even further than you have already), and try to smooth out the green fronds over his back.

    Fun.

    It is an Anna's, I guess young male because of the small amount of red gorget. Beautiful framing, light, and exposure. I've never seen the brown in the eye so well! The still body with blurred wings, close flower in LRC, well done.
