    Default Eatern Bluebird

Finally got off my butt and went out to find a sign or Spring and what better bird than a Bluebird.

    Malcolm:

Excellent colors on this one. Our bluebirds are still very dull.
Nice pose, like the lichens on the perch, color of background. Well exposed.

Be sure to post at the largest size, 800 on the vertical, as it gives us a better look, and can make for more useful critiques. This one is only 640 vertically.

I might consider a slight crop from the top.

Thanks for your sign of spring!

    Cheers

Beautiful bird, nice perch and great BG. I like the vertical comp too. I only wish the head was turned away a bit, but all else looks good.

This reminds me to go look at out local bluebird spots...
