Ooh, very nice! Great BG. Notice the perfect HA. I wish the breast wasn't so much in shadow, but very nice overall. I'd eliminate the small shadow on the perch at left edge of the frame, and below that there is a thin white stripe going to the bottom.

Lovely alert pose with good colours and detail. Like the drooped wings and lichen on the perch with BG to match. Allround a lovely image.

Well, this shot is what garden hides are all about, isn't it? Daniel makes some good points. The shadow on the breast is too strong. Otherwise the details are very good. The lowest-hanging lichens seem to have been noise-reduced; I'd have traced around them.

Thanks for the C & C everyone, I took several images, in this one I clipped the bottom of the lichens so I added canvas and used the previous image to repair. Despite the shooting angle being practically identical the lichens did not align perfectly so i guess you can see where I have been monkeying around. The thin white stripe on the left is where I did not quite align the content aware correctly.

I like the perch, HA and BG. I agree with the others about the shadowed breast. Nice image Jonathon!

Hi Jonathan, great angle and HA, and just love the colours on the Robin. What a super BG too.
