I stripped this image of most of it's detail in hopes that the form of the Swan along with it's sweet face could carry the image. Let me know your thoughts. I used Fractalius and Photoshop layers to create the image.

Denise, you know this works for me - I love this kind of image. My only suggestion would be to not let the white be 100%. I would keep the peak whites at 245 or less (easier on the eyes), but as Mark says...![]()

Kerry, I loved the bright white-but I also see your point. Thanks![]()
Denise, this is wonderful. It definitely works for me too! I like how you brought the bill color back in, it really makes the image special I think. I only wonder if the blacks in the feather detail need to be a smidgen darker?![]()
Minimal and graceful, denise. Love it!![]()
Love the image. Maybe it's my monitor, though, but the back almost disappears. Maybe just a touch more detail there, if indeed my monitor is right. Like the contrast of the beak to the minimal approach to the rest of the swan.
I like it as composed, would love to see this larger...agree that black could be bit darker...but I think this would make a lovely card.
It works well for me too. Just enough detail, and I like the splash of color of the bill. Nice work!
I love minimalism but wouldn't mind a tiny bit more detail in the area directly behind the neck - it's so concentrated in the neck area and then goes almost white right behind it. A little more balance would work better IMO. I'd also tone down the white just a bit for the web but probably not for printing. Lovely image Denise.
