Very interesting image. I love the background, the monkey's expression and I love the finger pointing down. I'm not sure about the placement in the frame it seems like a bit too much empty space on the left.

Vivaldo, this is wonderful. Is that the monkey's tail just showing on the far lhs? I love the way the little hill rises from the bottom left hand corner and sweeps to the monkey. The expression is priceless as is that finger and hand. Beautiful rendition of the eyes. Lots of captions come to mind with this image! Lovely tones throughout the image.

Vivaldo, I agree with Hilary. I really like the tone of this image and the bg. The expression, eyes and pose are all great.

    Vivaldo,

The monkey itself is wonderful the hand gesture is "funny" and the BG is perfect.

I am however puzzled by its tail, it seems incredibly long?

I wonder whether the inclusion of this has dictated the crop, as I would have preferred less space on LHS.

Thanks for comments I included the tail but must admit the it does look a bit on long.

nice pose and perspective here Vivaldo - have to agree that it needed more space to "look into", though I understand you wanting to include the tail.

if Mr Monkey had just turned his head slightly in your direction...how we wish for those moments of fortune

    Hi Vivaldo

I think the inclusion of the tail is more of a distraction than anything else.
I also find the 2 bright patches above his head draws the eye . Eyes are nice and sharp , the placement and space to left works well...

very nice looking image...I love the pose and the look on the vervets face...I also like the mound and clean BG...I always like you use of space but im not sure if it works here( im still on the fence) i think maybe if the entire tail was visible from start to finish then it may work but the fact that it dissapears for about a half a meter or so the reapears...Not sure....love the pointing finger
