    Hi Todd Would have tried for lower ISO here Seems like you had plenty of shutter speed !!! There is some noise present

    I like the pose and crop Beautiful white head I think in this instance some fill flash (if allowed) would have been the thing to do Don't mind the bg being dark but would like to see some detail on the birds feathers !!!!

    Thanks Al, I forgot to mention that in a self critique. We were constantly in and out of shaded area. Quite frankly I just wasn't paying the attention I should have been:o. I've never used the auto iso feature but might work well in these type of apps. Do you have any experience using it?

    A kiss of flash really would have made this one pop but I'm not sure you would have wanted to use it that close....if allowed. I'm with Al on a little more detail from the darker feathers to "anchor" the bird in the frame. I do like the dark BG.....makes it more stately.
