Steve, other than a little loss of clarity right at the wingtips, I can't find anything I don't love about this image! Beautiful wing spread and an awesome view of his entire body with very little shadow and no distractions. I am especially fond of the tail - so transparent in places you can see right through his battered feathers! An excellent high key type image!

Agree about being good high key image. Love the sharpness, the details on the bird and the flight pose (which give nice diagonal line too :) ). The wing tips doesn't bother me but I wish there a bit more space at the top, the edge is very close to the wing for me.

Really like it too! The feet stand out like a sore thumb- this is a good thing! Nice and sharp. I would give the upper right wing tip a little more room.

Steve; well done. Lighting, exposure, detail, flight position are all to notch. Adding canvas at the top would be very easy with PS CS5 content aware fill. Expand the top(Image/canvas size), select that area (rectangular marque tool) and few pixels below, then edit/fill/content aware. regards~Bill

Love this image. You can even see which feathers are beat up.

    Great angle.

A tad more room at the top if you print this.
