Thirteen views no response, inexplicable.
This is a real beauty in great environment, OK it has a few "technical" problems, brigh patches in BG one eye not fully open, but otherwise a mighty fine realistic image.
Not sure about others, but I often look at an image several times before deciding what response to give. I have no doubt added a few to those view counts. Sometimes I will look 5 or 6 times and find the responses in the meantime have covered all aspects and I have nothing I can offer, so I don't post a comment. It isn't always disinterest.
As for the fox, I agree that there are some technical aspects which could be addressed. I think the face could be sharpened somewhat and the bright patches in the background and on the grass don't allow the little fox to shine. I like the way the fox is lying with his feet just showing.
These are some cute buggers,
Agreed with Ken and Hilary

I like the POV and DOF. Some good advice above.

Superb image but have to agree with above comments. I am sure a flash could have helped improve detail TFS![]()
I like the dappled light here, and the overall colours and details. The clarity in the eyes makes this for me. Sure some fill flash would have helped, and I do think some more space on the RHS (and less on the left) would have placed the fox slightly off-centre and balanced the composition a bit better.
Hi Ryan, a nice relaxed pose and agree with Morkel about trying to frame it so the fox is slightly off centre.
Personally I feel it needs just a little boost in Curves to give it that 'punch' it needs, plus a hint of selective brightness and the removal of the slight red in the whites of the coat only. I wonder if you had been able to have moved slightly to your right without disturbing the fox you might have also been able to avoid the hot spots in the BG perhaps?
