    Hi again,

I think a couple of us are going to turn this into a forum on airshow photos the way we're going!

Attached here is an image from the climax of the Avalon Airshow a few weeks back. A demonstration was made of an air-to-ground strike in support of ground troops who had been dropped in by chopper. As the ground troops were picked up the f-18s came back and dropped 'bombs'. A challenging scenario to capture but I'm pretty happy with the result.

    Canon 7D and 70-200mm and 1.4x TC, TV mode @ +1/3, ISO 640, f/25, 1/125 sec.

    cheers, Dean

Now that is pretty cool! They had the A-10 Warthog do a strafing run here at Luke, but it was not very image-worthy. I might be tempted to crop a bit horizontally on yours with the left border at about the level of that solo F-18 (cropping out that jet) and the right border a little to the right of the fireball. This would take the chopper out of image-center.
