    Default Reflection with Lily Pads

I took this photo at Noxubee Refuge last week with tree reflections and lily pads that dotted the surface of the small lake. I used Topaz Adjust, I think I started with Color Blast to really pump up the colors. Just kind of a wild and fun image!

Wonderful colors, Judy! My first reaction is "Fairyland Stepping Stones". Good comp with the leading tree reflections. I really like that there is a bit of green in the mix. Great job!

Real nice comp, Judy. Real vibrant colors, and I really like the optical illusion aspect between what is reflection and what isnt. Keeps the eyes moving and exploring. Well done!

Thanks Steve! I like your "Fairyland Stepping Stones" description. It was actually amazing how much the blue sky was reflected in the water especially since it was pretty muddy after the torrential rain a few days earlier.

Judy, The vivid colors and the square crop add to the abstract look of this. I find it interesting and fun to look at. Nicely done.

Thanks Denise. I had to crop it like that on the left to eliminate trees on the bank nearest me and then had to more or less match it on the right. I would have liked to include more of the reflection. I was about 30 ft above the ground on an overlook.

Judy, love the blues and the tree branch reflections. Very lovely image. Nice to see the lilypads too, so far all we have here is daffodils just breaking the surface of the soil. Snow in the forecast for tonight! Yikes!

Hi Judy, love the colors and composition. The trees looking more like roots and the lily pads looking like they are floating upstream make for an interesting flow to the image. Blue is my fave...
