    Drop of a Hat (1) = Sombrero
Just a light hearted series about the possible hats a drop might wear...
Reflection was especially vivid on this one.
FF (I stepped back a little to include all of the rings, D. )
Addition of glycerin and release aid to blue water drops. Magenta and yellow gels on flash. Black flats left and right. Some cleanup in CS5 and clarity in LR.

    All C&C welcome.

Another amazing water drop image. You are really good at this. I love the colors and the "sombrero" puts it over the top!

Awesome! Steve this is outstanding!!The full concentric circles really do add a lot to the composition. The hint of blue up on the top part is lovely but the way it does look like a sombrero hanging in mid-air is just great. Love it.

    Great hat, Steve!

Colors are wonderful and I agree the inclusion of the full circles adds to the image. This is amazing work!

    Lots, Mitch
I'm just getting the hang of this and after many tries (1000+) the misses to quality collision ratio is about 10 to 1. It still has plenty of randomness to it and that's part of the fun.
