    Here's another from the Luke AFB airshow. These are two F-16's from the U.S. Air Force precision flying team, the Thunderbirds. A couple of years shooting birds since the last time I tried an airshow has improved my aircraft images as well.

    Canon 7D
    Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L
    S/H and Sharpening in CS5

    1/2000sec f5/6 ISO 640

    No room for error here!

    Oh, my! I just noticed that the plane number on the inverted jet is painted on upside-down!

    And as if that isn't cool enough, it looks like the pilot in the top plane is looking at you! And he looks so relaxed like he's just popping down to the shops to pick up some milk and the newspaper

    Excellent timing on the image Ian, really nice.

    I wonder if there is short-term F-16 parking at the local Quik-Stop ...
