This was more of a grab shot, as I was the passenger for a change, and captured this through the drivers window. I literally had a second to press the shutter before she turned away. Taken in the Pilanesberg nature reserve at the end of last year, whilst driving out to return home.

Stuart - a very nice grab shot. Good detail and sharpness. I think she looks as surprised as you.

Hi Stuart, like the details on the face, eyes and fur, and your processing looks excellent to me, super IQ for the iso. Like the strong y-shape created by the ears and face. Nice job. Not sure if a vertical comp might make for an even stronger portrait?

Hi Stuart, your timing is perfect and extremely well executed. The detail and colour look sot on, but I am particularly impressed with the detail of the muzzle, as quite often sharpness tends to tail off here, big congrats. Personally if you go for a landscape format I think it needs to be just a fraction of centre, but I also think a portrait format could also work too, making the most of an excellent image.

Stuart, love the detail and the alert look on the antelope's face. Great background and agree with Grant on the nice 'Y' shape made with those wonderful ears. I like the crop as presented.

    Stuart,

These are such beauties and this is also a beauty.

Detail in the eye is remarkable.

great detail and soft light here Stu - exposure and sharpness well handled!

I think this might work better cropped to portrait? what do you think?

Nice "grab" shot portrait Stuart. Vibrant with clarity, detail, and color.

Thanks Mork. It would work if I had more space below, but I dont. This was the only image I got of her before she turned away.

Thanks everyone else for the feedback and comments.
