I'm Mike and live in the Tampa area (Lithia, to be exact). I moved to Tampa after retiring from the Air Force a few years ago. I wasn't really into bird photography when I moved to Florida, but 'when in Rome'...

Hey Michael, welcome to BPN!! Bird photography is a great hobby, and I'm sure you'll learn lots by participating. From the looks of it, you've got the basics down...looking forward to your images in the critique forums (Eager to Learn is a great place to start...)
Welcome to BPN, fellow Tampanian. Glad to see you were able to capture the reddish in breeding plumage. He's been a bit elusive for me lately. Hope to run into out at FD soon.
