No, it has nothing to do with Waterloo...

I love these little gulls. They are so graceful, elegant, and fun to watch. This one was captured at the Salton Sea, just as the sun was going down in the middle of winter.

Noise Reduction (Noiseware Professional via PS CS5) on the bg only, sharpening by Topaz Detail and USM.

Beautiful Kerry. The light is everything. BG is great. Also the wing angle. I would have liked the bird to turn its head a little bit the other way.

I would have expected these to have their black heads by now. When was the image made?

One of my favorite gulls, Kerry! This is a first winter bird with the dark pattern on the upper wing. Very nicely captured, sharp, good DOF, wing position and BG are good!

Love the wing detail and position, Kerry. Looks like a perfect exposure to me.

Kerry, this shot is fantastic. The BG is great, the exposure right on. The wings and HA are good. Love this one.
