There have been so many nice sunset images coming from Artie's recent SW Florida IPT, that I thought I would throw mine in.

I thought the gold with touches of blue was striking and went well with the great egret

    Advice and thoughts always appreciated.

    Cheers

Beautiful! The vertical composition really complements the bird. Colors are lovely.

Randy, this is gorgeous! I like your framing here. The colors are excellent as is the sharpness. It was a great evening of photography... I am yet to go through all the images!

The touch of blue with the copper water color is very cool. Great shot all around. TFS

I guess I'm the only one who prefers the white to be more white?....

Looking at them both here it does change the feeling of the image a bit.....

Hey Randy, super pose, and you have placed the egret nicely in the frame. I like the ripple effect in the water, and of course, the colours puts this over the top. An opportunity well used.

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice.

Steven: Your repost didn't show up unfortunately. I agree the white balance in this image is very warm.
this was taken around sunset, so wanted to convey the 'golden light' feeling. I may try a version with the bird whiter.

I wonder why it didn't show, I can see it....it's posted here in an album.

Anyways, just shifting the WB ruins the image. Also had to go shift the saturation/luminance of yellow/reds to get the water colors right again.
