    This images is from south-west coast off Norway. Data- 500mmL F4,0 IS, ISO 200 , 1/160 , F 4,0. Bean bag.

    The low angle and colors are wonderful. The circular bright spot on the left adds a theatrical feel which I like (it is not distracting). If possible I think it would be nice to lighten the iris a little to show the brown better.

    Hi Geir- Agree, the low angle is great. The image is dark and moody and I like the feeling, although I agree with Alan that some lightening of the face would be useful. I think the bird is a bit tight in the frame. Not sure what the diagonal line is on the right.

    Absolutely love the deep colors of this Sandpiper. It gives me the impression that it was shot during the 'golden hour'.
