    Default Female Ring-Necked Duck

    Hello everyone. Today I had the oppertunity to take some pics of this hen. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.
    Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400 w/1.4 tc, Exposure - 1/1250, Aperture - F5.6, ISO - 400, Metering - Spot, Aperture Priority.

    Robert:

    I like the colors, smooth water, excellent eye contact, good shooting angle.

    The light was well off to the left, but the bill and eye are well illuminated which helps, and the shadows do add to the three dimensional feel of the image. Just a little more light on the back would have been nice.

    It looks like it could use just a bit of CCW rotation because of the bill reflection, but it is very close.

    Because the reflection is somewhat distorted, I could see a version with it cropped up to just above the base of the bill in the reflection.

    Lovely light and the IQ looks pretty good...Love that eye...Lower angle if possible would have been great...But you cant always make that happen
