This Turkey was taking a short flight across a creek in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Nikon D300, 600mm +1.4x, ISO400, f6.3, 1/1,250 sec.

    Thanks for looking, Dave

Wish the head was not lost in the BG of its own feathers !! Otherwise a beauty of a flight shot.

    Dave:

Rakesh hit the major point, the head merge.

The flared primaries, colors, light all look good.

    Like the framing too.

    Cheers

Too bad the head is covered by wing tip...it's a very cool flight pose though, and not a common shot for sure!
