    JC,
    Beautiful subject and interesting behavior.
IMO more room above the Motnot would make this a stronger image.

    I noticed you used flash.
Did you try turning down the ambient (to control the bright background elements) and turning the flash up just slightly more?

    James

Hello James, sorry because my English is not that good, I still don't understand it at a 100% and I think I will never do, is a very hard language, ok, no excuses, but I did what I could with this little guy, I was very lucky he didn't fly away as soon as he saw me, perhaps he was more interested in his meal. Thank you for your input.

Beautiful bird and setting. The eye looks a bit overflashed. I might try to brighten the head a little.

Excellent comments above; the bright spots in the BKGR are quite distracting.

ps; If they respond to bananas or other fruit you can often get them to land on a perch that you set up with a distant background...

Hello there, well Artie, they feed mostly on insects and frogs so I don't know if I will be able to get some of these, and may be he won't be interested. I will see. thank you all for the input.

Hi JC, Whenever you are in the tropics it pays to put out some fruit and see what shows up. If they come, you can put up some perches. And YAW.
