    Default Ladder-backed Woodpecker

Another from my travels in Arizona - a male Ladder-backed Woodpecker bathing in some nice warm light just before sunset.

Good sharpness, nice soft light and sweet BG. I wonder how this would look in slightly tighter composition.

Nice pose and golden lighting on a great bird. I agree that a little closer crop would be even better.

Love the way it is presented . I suspect that a tighter compo would make the perch look bigger . The light is just heavenly .

Great light. The perch is overpowering the subject. I agree with tighter crop.

Amazing light and background. I don't mind the composition as presented.

Stunning bokeh and image. I love it as is, don't think it needs a crop.

I like the comp as presented a lot. The light and bg are simply superb. If anything, I wish for just a bit of head turn towards us. Thanks for sharing.

Nice comp, exposure and lighting. The presented comp does not bother me, but the suggestions of cropping do sound good.
