    One of my memories of Costa Rica is the small goups of Collared Aracai's that would swoop in and raucously take over the feeders, leaving only after having their fill of bananas. This image is from a quieter moment. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

    Beautiful! For these is not easy to get the full bird, tail included, together with a good head angle....

    Wow, awesome bird with a great pose. I like the comp. Good perch despite it's heaftiness, and I like most the BG...I'd tone down (but not fully eliminate) the lighter patch touching the head as it competes from the subject's face IMO. I'm OK with the OOF tree at right.

    What a cool bird! Absolutely fantastic image. Beautiful detail in the blacks, perfect HA, nice perch and BG. Love that eye. TFS.
