I am Andre van As and retired - for the 3rd time recently and hope to stay that way. I was very involved with photography and belonged to the Sandton Photographic Society along with another member of BPN - Loukie Viljoen, while living in South Africa until 1980. I have converted to the digital age and am actively getting involved in photography again and now belong to the Delaware County Camera Club west of Philadelphia. I have discovered that Pennsylvania is on many bird migration routes and that there are opportunities to get close to them at various sites such as Mid Creek WMA, Conowingo Dam and Hawk Mountain. Hopefully I can get some images that are worthwhile posting on this incredible site where the level of expertise is so high.
