    The Yellow-billed Hornbill is a common resident in Sout Africa They are commonly seen in scrub and dry woodland areas.

    Chris, loved the light and the HA. Exposure looks very good too. I am liking the tightness. What a mean looking bird.

    The eye and the feathers around looks sharper than the rest of the bird. Were you too close for f/6.3?

    I like the over-the-shoulder pose and that great hornbill. There seems to be a bit of motion blur. I would have bumped the ISO a stop and used 2/3 for more SS and 1/3 for more DOF.
