    Do you feel lucky...punk!

A power greater than myself once told me "Be among them, Be my voice" I believe images that tell a story are a means to this end.

Wow, Chas! That's a wonderful image and a great title to go with it! The only suggestion I have is possibly to brighten up the eye on the Raven a bit. I was going to suggest getting rid of that food scrap but, on further consideration, I think it enhances the tension of the image.

    Who's talking to who?

That food scrap is a very important element for this image. A great story-telling picture, I love everything about it. Not being familiar with crow species in Japan, is the paler circle around the eye part of the plumage or light reflecting in some way?

    Well done on all counts...

    Daniel,

Just light reflecting off the plumage at the head angle shown. No dodging necessary.

    Best,

    Chas

    Artie,

We had a 7.1 while in the Narita airport, and earthquake warnings going off at the hotel. We all left the day before the big quake hit. My heart and prayers are with the Japanese people. We were very lucky! I do know the Japanese are like no other people I have ever met, proud and resourceful they will overcome.

    Keep them in your prayers.

    Best,

    Chas

I can almost hear the spaghetti western music playing in the BG as I looked at this one. Who eventually got it?

Incredible drama, the simplicity of 2 birds in the snow, the frosted eagle head and icy beak, the crow leaning away ...

And superb technicals too - detail from the crow's back up to the snow and white on the eagle.
