A different angle for sure, which I find distracting.

Nuthatch is nice and sharp and I like the dof with clean perch/tree.

    BG is complimentary.

I find it interesting how the angle throws me off and outside my comfort zone. It makes me wonder what contortions you went through to get photo.

I'm sure the angle is normal for a Nuthatch, but it is a little odd to look at. Good sharpness and nice BG. Wish the bird was looking at us, and I might tone down the perch.

Fantastic bg and nice sharpness. Just not used to see a bird upside-down. Another vote for toning down the highlights on the perch.

These guys are alot of fun...I have a soft spot for Red-breasted Nuthatches (which looks identical to your nuthatches in Europe). I see nuthatches assume this pose very often but I agree this particular angle looks odd for an image - its too upside down. The body and face angling away from us doesn't help either. Good exposure and nice details.
