    Nice overcast day at the end of Feb. Lots of Green Jay activity that morning.
    D700 500 f/4 with 1.4 TC ISO 1250 1/400 f/6.3
    PP in LR3 Small crop, color adjustments, sharpened and NR
    cloned out a branch that was distracting behind and parallel to the bird's back, later permanently deleted the branch with a tree saw.

    Lovely bird, sharp, nicely exposed. Good to see details in the blacks. Lovely bg as well.
    A minor wish is that the perch went all the way to the left and the head was turned more toward the viewer. A possible dust bunny by the birds left foot.
    I really wanted to photograph this bird on my last (and only) trip to south Texas, but it rained non-stop, but at least I got to see it. Your pic makes me want to make a trip this year - hoping for better luck this time.

    The bird is a beauty ..lovely BG and perch . This frame is a stunner .Would also love to see an image with some room around the bird .

    Beautiful bird, exceleltn psoe and sharpness. Loved the soft light and the bokeh. Very well done. I'd love to see this bird one day.

    Beautiful detail and color and great background. Good eye Sidharth for picking up that little artifact. I like the inquisitive ha.
