Just got to Alaska for my bald eagle trip. From the first evening this bald eagle has taken a long-tailed duck. Processed on my lousy laptop (which I seldom do) so I'm not sure how good it will look on the forum so I agologize for that.

    Robert:

Dramatic moment captured, excellent wing display, sharp.

For me the light angle which worked so well for the wings, caused the shadow on the head which is unfortunate, esp. right through the eye.

There is also a certain amount of "coarseness" in the rendering of the water, esp in front of the eagle.

Possibly a result of the jpg conversion.

Hope to see more from your trip!

    Cheers
