    Butterfly World...........one of my favorite S Florida places........using the digital Rebel and the Sigma 180mm macro and MT24 lights at ISO 400 and f22 and 1/100th sec. Noise Ninja applied on BG.

    You did well to get a nice clean BG at Butterfly World and I like the comp and behavior, my only nit is that the butterflies look over flashed having seen these guys before I remember them being a tad darker then again it could just be my monitor or eyes:)

    Well done Roman, sharpness is great, good BG and cool mossy perch.

    Agree about the overflash look, I have mentioned this before a few times. Canon Twin macro flash in Auto will do that, you have to diffuse them like crazy (since the head is so small ) then use manual power.

    Hey Roman, great find and I wonder if you just darken the image it would darken the black in the wings and help out on lighting from the flash.
