    Default White-tailed kites with vole

With help of a friend I was able to locate an active nest, unfortunately it was not very close so I had to play the wait game hoping that they would come in range. Lightning condition was tough as it was a cloudy day with on and off rain and just too dark for flight most of the time even with 3200 ISO. At one point a hint of light came out and I had only a single opportunity for making a photograph, fortunately I was able to pull this one or the whole day would have been a waste! Hope you like it :)

Arash, your patience certainly paid off, and excellent DOF with both in perfect focus. Good flight postures from both birds, and just love the hint of clouds in the sky BG. Well captured.

Arash, this is a stunning shot. Great pop, perfect angle on both birds, clear view of eye, prey...bill open...both within dof....killer pose on the rare bird...those eyes...superb.
