You did relatively well with the rather soft sidelight. Could be a bit sharper. Selectively sharpening the bird would likely help, as would some fill flash have done.
Why no tripod?
Great pose with a perfect head angle to go along.

Thx very much. i like the critics for learn to be better, Arthur, i am walking searching for a good spot for take photos, when i see this bird i have only time for walking front and back up and down slowly searching the best angle, no time for tripode, this bird is shy.
