    Here is yet another shot from my February trip to Bosque. Getting ready to head ot Monte Vista in a couple weeks for a different view of these birds.

    Pose neat, sharpness and EXP right on the money. Moving right would have eliminated the shadow but the nice view of the head would have been lost, so, you chose a good compromise.

    Kurt:

    My first impression was that it is a rather an awkward pose, but when you put it together with the ice, it helps tell the story that it was cold and the bird is tucking in to conserve heat.

    Well exposed, very sharp. I might tone down the specular reflection in front of the breast.
