Went out with Cap'n Darth and Artie today, in search for spoons. The weather was lousy and while the spoon action wasn't as I've seen it previously, there were still plenty of them and some killer spoon photo ops. Coolest thing was then about 15 or more spoons got spooked and flew right over us. I've never had this many spoons in a single shot ....

Good seeing you Michael. This one is a beauty. You did well to get on them so quickly. Great optimization and lots of good wing positions. Overall very pleasing. later and love, artie

Great image with so many Spoonies. You did a good job of keeping them all in focus.

Really nice getting such a variety of wing positions with no overlapping. The gray sky is a nice bg, and the overcast conditions eliminated shadows. Lovely.

Beautiful image Michael, perfect background for the spoonies. I have yet to see one of these birds, they really are spectacular.
