Taken from my back garden hide: Mongoose head bolted to a large plank of wood acting as a shelf, (steady and comfy!) Canon 50D Canon 100-400L IS ISO 800 -1.0 1/250 sec f8
I had set this perch up for jays and magpies, as usual the "wrong" birds came along, when I saw this pose I just had to take the shot. I would be interested to receive comments on colours currently my screen is not calibrated - hoping to get it fixed this week.
All C & C welcome
I am thinking that an alternative crop plus some selective sharpening of the bird would be perfect...
