Nice sharp image Patricia. I like the orange lichen - it makes for a interesting perch. The light looks pretty harsh in the shot - this set-up probably would have been a good candidate for a bit of fill flash to try and open up some of those shadows. I do wish the bird had raised his head just a bit to provide a bit of separation between the beak and the body.
You did well on the bird with the relatively harsh light but the perch and the lichens look very hot. Perhaps a Linear Burn might tame them a bit.... Sharp with a nice inquisitive pose.
