I like the light and reflection. Too bad you clipped the wing and that the bird is facing away from you. It needs a bit CW rotation. I would remove the spots in the water, especially the one at the top. What was the shutter speed?

Hi Axel, Thanks for the comments - this shot is slightly cropped due to the partial duck at top - other than that it is untocuhed - the shutter speed is 1/2000 - I don't know much about Photoshop - I really need to get into it based on what you can do with it from the BPN. Norm

Axel mentioned the problems in the image. I would add that your exposure was right on, and the soft early morning light is nice. The image is sharp with nice detail. A great way to learn Photoshop and Digital workflow etc, is to pick up a copy of " The Art of Bird Photography II " by Arthur Morris.

Hello Linda, Thank you for your response. I'm just new to this BIF & still bird shooting. I love the forum, only I wish more people would respond to usenewbee's, other wise I'll never learn this stuff. I probably read the forum 5-6 times a day, sometime I comment on pictures, not that I'm good enough but that I appreciate great talent. Again thanks.
