Boy Kerry, that reminds me of summer here when the yellowlegs are returning south from the breeding grounds! In only 4 months they will be returning. Love the detail in the eye and the nice light. Nice leg-up action too. I'm wondering if some room could come off the bottom (weak reflection), and a little more on top.
Nice. A pretty strong look of concentration you captured here. I like the fall off of the focus and the 'motion' of the one leg.
This also makes me wish for summer... folk are still ice fishing here.
