    Default Wood Stork pan-blur.

From Estero Lagoon during Artie's IPT last month. With so many subjects making multiople fly-bys to practice slow shutter speed pan-blurs I wouldn't have thought that a Wood Stork's only fly-by would end up being among my favorites. The actual scene was much darker than this...overall tonality was brought up with a combination of in-camera EC and PS "Levels".

    Canon 30D + 100-400L @260mm, shutter priority, evaluative metering, 1/4s., f/10, ISO 800, +0.7 EC, handheld.

Hi Dan, this is a cool blur. There is enough hint of face to make this work. I like the translucent wings and bg with layers of water and sand. Nice take.

Daniel, Nice blur. My favorite parts are the blue stripes at the bottom. The soft color palette adds to the appeal.

Dan its really good blur, the details still visible in the face, wings convey movement, only thing I'd do if it were mine, is clone in the other leg. I think it would really help but its only my opinion.
