    Pigeons suffer from the Mallard malady Beautiful, but so common that we tend to take them for granted. If they suddenly showed up in an area where they normally weren't seen, they would be hits!

    The strong light has really made the iridescence pop here. Nice eye, angle in frame. Sharp

    The BG is somewhat distracting, and if possible, getting lower here would have really helped throw the BG out of focus and made for a cleaner image.

    The bokeh is rather harsh here. Normally this lens does pretty well in that regard, and I wonder if the addition of the 2x changed that characteristic.

    Really great pic. I am fond of these common birds. They have great colors and you captured that very well. IMO it looks a tad bright and I agree about the background. Other than that well done.
