I am not normally a fan of shots that don't show the eyes, but it really seems to fit this shot. I actually have another with the eyes open and like tis one better because it just seems to fit.

Took this on the summit of Mt Evans, Colorado

Me neither, but it seems to fit ok with the pose here.

I think this works perfect Kurt. I also like the strong graphic presence of the rock and its diagonal slope in the image.

    Kurt,

Great shot of a furry little critter I've yet to run across. You definitely caught him in a unique pose. I like the rock as well.

The lighting and magic BG not to mention the very cute pose complete this fine image Kurt.

Perfect execution here Kurt, with excellent DOF. The subtle, defuse colour of the BG really compliments the shot, offering the animals natural colouring and detail to come through perfectly. The colour of the rock works well too, and as Robert has mentioned, being on an angle just gives it that edge to the shot.
    I like this a lot.

Not much to add to the above, all has been said very well. Nice comp and pose, no visible eyes works fine here. Well done.
