I seem to spend half my time with Dogs trying to get panned images. As with a number of hunts, these guys were active just after sunset.

Hi Russell, this is quite an interesting blur shot, your relatively fast shutter speed has certainly got the dogs face very much in focus, whilst the BG and the rest of the dog is blurred. Nice effect, and I guess that every blur shot comes out that little bit different...If anything with this shot, perhaps taking a little from the rhs might be nice, but I like it as is.
    nicely done

Russel this certainly is tack sharp where it needs to be...very effective and these guys are always a bundle of energy and on the move so the photo certainly conveys that!

You've done very well with rather high S/S pan Russell, indicating the sharp head shot as how well they lock and track their target.

Sharp head makes this one work exceptionally well. The blurred BG is pleasuring and goes well with the dog. Nice work.
