    Beautiful detail, I wonder if the bill is a little over-saturated??

    The wind blown feathers add a nice touch and if you hadn't added that the bird is standing I would have assumed it was swimming. The saturation might be just on the edge.

    Funny thing is i have desaturated the reds and magnata considerably. These birds have the most orange beak - I think it has to do with the shellfish diet.

    I may dull it down a bit more.

    Nice one Tom! I've been trying for ages to get a photo of a Sooty in water like this. Nice to see I'm not the only person who has problems with the red in these guys.
